Situation and medium-term forecast

Rainfall and low temperatures lead to reduced allergenic burden!

The ragweed pollen season is fading in the concerned regions of Austria, namely Burgenland, Vienna, Lower Austria, Styria, parts of Upper Austria and Carinthia.
The rainfalls of the past days inhibited pollination and from now on the threshold for low allergic symptoms will only be reached locally.

Remark: Please pay attention to the small (about 3 mm long) and serrated seeds, if you remove ragweed now. The seeds are easily dispersed and germinable for a long time....
