Situation and medium-term forecast

The pollen season ends!

Hardly any pollen is recorded in the air and airborne pollen concentrations have dropped to such low levels that they do not reach the threshold for allergic reactions. Thus, we cease our regular forecasting for the pollen season 2022.

Current situation: The flower of cedar may cause yellow sediment, that is harmless and will vanish within the next weeks.
Fungal spores may still cause burden – if you should be affected, please pay attention to our forecast!
Relevant pollen concentrations will only occur during long range transport events of pollen (e.g. ragweed pollen).

Long-term forecast: We will commence forecasting again as soon as the flowering of hazel and alder is in sight. We therefore expect to present the first forecasts and model data in mid to late December.

Until then, we wish all pollen allergy sufferers a symptom-free time and we thank you for your confidence!
