Burden from grass pollen is of importance in higher elevated regions – season of weeds is approaching!
The grass pollen season is fading in the lowlands with a low burden, although those low level will continue for a longer time due to late flowering grass species. A higher burden has still to be expected in higher elevated regions, if conditions are favourable. Grass pollen allergy sufferers may find better conditions at and above the timber line and in dense deciduous forests.
